Indonesia : Bakso

Bakso, ground meat shaped like a ball sold and eaten everywhere in Indonesia. Whether it is in a fancy restaurant, hotel dinner, and most of all at the side of main streets across the country. Bakso is a major dish in the Indonesian street-food scene. It is delicious, and a hearty source of protein.

A portion of bakso is usually comprised of 4-5 meatballs, tofu, beansprouts, noodles, and wonton crackers. Beef broth is then added before finishing the portion with a sprinkle of celery and friend onions.
